Since the release of the firm’s very first Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph model in 1993, Audemars Piguet has introduced a diverse range of variations with differing materials, sizes and complications. Initially released to cater towards the contemporary demand of collectors, the larger case dimension was a breakthrough and was immediately in trend. While the initial model featured a case size measuring 42mm in diameter, the firm released smaller iterations measuring 37mm in diameter for the discerned lady collector.
The present Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph encased in a forged carbon case fitted with a diamond-set bezel is the firm’s testament to their technical excellence in incorporating new materials on a wristwatch executed with traditional craftsmanship.
