  • Catalogue Essay

Since its founding in 1995, Roger Dubuis has captivated the world of watchmaking by introducing the Hommage and Symphathie models, which were his earliest creations. Since then, the brand has released many other models including the Golden Square collection in 2003. Modelled as the Golden Square, each example from the collection featured a perfect square-shaped case housing various complications and the implementation of a diverse range of materials and dimensions.

The present example Golden Square features a tourbillon with a playful asymmetrically checkered diamond-set dial from circa 2006 is numbered 1 of a limited edition of 28 pieces. Accompanied by the full set of accessories, the present early Roger Dubuis timepiece is a fun timepiece to sport for the collector of extravagant timepieces.
