Reference 26120, in production from 2006 to 2018, was a revamped version of the brand’s original Royal Oak Dual Time reference 25730, but in a larger 39mm case. The second time zone, power reserve and date indications see the addition of a night and day indication on the lower left section of the dial.
The present Royal Oak Dual Time in pink gold is in excellent overall condition. Showcasing a date, day/night and power reserve indicator, this timepiece is both elegant and energetic at the same time. The black "Grande Tapisserie" dial contrasts strongly against the warmer pink gold case and leather strap. For a 39mm diameter case, this reference features many complications. The first is the power reserve indicator located on the top left area of the dial - quite useful given the various other complications this cal. 2329/2846 has to offer. Secondly, the dual-time zone subdial is positioned at 6 o'clock on the dial and is usually set at the local or "home" time of one's country of residence. As such, when travelling, setting the ordinary hands to a different time zone won't affect the dual zone dial mechanism, thereby granting easy readability. The day/night indicator positioned to the left of the dual time dial is another useful feature on this Royal Oak. When the hand is within the white half of the circle, it indicates 24:00 - 12:00, and when the hand is within the black half of the circle, 12:01 - 23:59. This way, it is easy to tell whether the "home" time in the dual time zone is either am or pm.
