Reference 15202 has become one of the most coveted watches of the past years.

It was first introduced in steel and yellow gold cases in 2000, while retaining the 39mm case of the original “Jumbo” as well as the automatic cal 2121 it had a more modern vibe with the "Grande Tapisserie" dial and sapphire caseback.

The model featured for the first time a silver dial but was also available with dark blue and cosmos blue dials. The pink gold version was launched in 2006.

In 2012 for the model’s 40th anniversary the dial of reference 15202 was revamped to make it closer in looks to the original ref 5402 with the AP logo placed at 6 o’clock and "Petite Tapisserie" dial.

Amongst the reference 15202 production one specific model stands out as the grail of holy grails: the reference 15202BC in white gold with shimmering pink champagne dial (Audemars Piguet refers to the dial color as salmon).

The case could easily be mistaken for steel but the pleasant heft gives away the precious metal composition. The dial is mesmerizing and depending on the light, it varies from pale to pink champagne with hints of gold.

Audemars Piguet announced in 2019 upon the launch of this model that it would be making no more than 75 pieces per year. Considering that this reference was discontinued in 2021 we can thus assume that only 225 examples were ever produced!

The present watch is in unworn condition and comes with its full set of accessories.
