With a focus on astronomical timepieces, Dutchman Christiaan van der Klaauw introduced his first astronomical clock in 1974. Regarded as the only watchmaker in the industry to be completely devoted to hand-made astronomical timepieces, the brand was recognized as one of the 65 brands to be able to claim the prestigious title by Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) “Haute Horlogerie”.
