Catalogue Essay
Mimicking the visual puns of Marcel Duchamp, Hamilton hijacks one of the most prominent French brands, Pernod Ricard liquer, and adds the letter 'H' to the name on the bottle. The carafes were then exhibited alongside his distinctive 'Richard' ashtrays and aluminium signs at the gallery of his friend Lanfranco Bombelli Tiravanti in Cadaqués, Spain.
