This modern masterpiece reinterprets one of Piaget's most iconic lines: the Black Tie, forever immortalized as the “Andy Warhol” watch in honor of its most famous wearer. Revived at SIHH 2015 as the Black Tie Vintage Inspiration, this homage returned in white gold with a jet-black onyx dial, powered by the in-house self-winding Calibre 534P—adorned with blued screws, circular Côtes de Genève, perlage, and bevelled bridges. Elegant, distinctive, and unmistakably Piaget, it recaptured collectors' hearts once more.
Limited to just six pieces, this series is elevated to true rarity. Crafted in platinum, the case retains the signature stepped silhouette, while the jet-black onyx dial absorbs light and dazzles with 13 large baguette-cut faceted diamonds (totaling 0.82 carats) serving as hour markers for razor-sharp legibility and retro glamour. The off-white Piaget logo adds a distinctive characterful touch ready to be the spotlight of any ballroom.
Freshly-unsealed from its original packaging, this timepiece is numbered 3 and remains in pristine, unworn condition with the choice of both black or white crocodile strap. Radiating exclusivity the presentation box is further numbered 3 of 6 and delivered with Certificate of Authenticity for this unique edition.
Piaget
Swiss | 1874Creativity, audacity and know-how are the values that gave Piaget its international reputation and allowed the brand to distinguish itself in the world of fine watchmaking and precision. Founder Georges Edouard Piaget established the company in 1874 and manufactured watch movements. While Piaget is famously recognized today for their elaborate wristwatch and bangle designs, they also mastered the marriage of their high-quality, in-house-produced wristwatches and stunning pieces of jewelry.
Collectors consider the 1970s as Piaget's era of superb creativity and unbounded designs. During this highly creative period, the brand designed an impressive range of cuff and bracelet watches carved in gold and adorned with exotic hard stones. Admired by most as not only jewelry but also true works of art, the firm's hard stone dial watches remain the most iconic, recognizable and desirable among collectors.
