Good to know:
- Special edition to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Omega receiving the “Silver Snoopy Award”
- Blue ceramic tachymeter bezel and miniature Silver Snoopy medallion subsidiary dial
- Earth disc rotating in sync with running seconds with animated Snoopy in a CSM

- Omega was awarded the “Silver Snoopy Award” by NSAS astronauts in 1970, recognizing the manufacturer’s contribution in space exploration, including securing the safe return of the Apollo 13 crew by timing a critical engine burn to fix the re-entry angle to Earth.

- Released in 2020, the present watch is the third and latest Snoopy special edition Speedmaster, made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Omega receiving the award from NSAS astronauts. This timepiece features the iconic Silver Snoopy medallion on the seconds counter at the 9 o’clock position, modeled after the actual silver pin of the award.

- The watch boasts a stunning blue ceramic tachymeter bezel with white markings, perfectly complementing the subsidiary dials, luminous hands, and PVD angle-shaped indexes on the exquisite silver dial, which is laser engraved with sterling silver at its center.

- One of the highlights of this watch is undoubtedly the design of the caseback. When flipped over, the wearer is greeted by a delicate Earth disc that rotates in sync with the running seconds hand on the front dial. A delightful surprise awaits when the chronograph is activated: an animated Snoopy in a Command and Service Module (CSM) makes a revolution around the moon.

- Offered in unworn, excellent condition, and accompanied by its original accessories, this is an adorable commemorative timepiece not to be missed, not limited to the Omega community but all watch collector or astrophile.

Omega

Swiss | 1848

Omega's rich history begins with its founder, Louis Brandt, who established the firm in 1848 in La Chaux de Fonds. In 1903, the company changed its name to Omega, becoming the only watch brand in history to have been named after one its own movements. A full-fledged manufacturer of highly accurate, affordable and reliable watches, its sterling reputation enabled them to be chosen as the first watch company to time the Olympic Games beginning in 1932. Its continued focus on precision and reliability ultimately led their Speedmaster chronograph wristwatch to be chosen by NASA in 1965 — the first watch worn on the moon.

Key models sought-after by collectors include their first, oversized water-resistant chronograph — the reference 2077, early Speedmaster models such as the CK 2915 and 2998, military-issued versions of the Seamaster and oversized chronometer models such as those fitted with their prestigious caliber 30T2Rg.
