    Margaret Bourke-White’s classic photograph of the USS Akron is presented here in its original presentation frame. The frame is made from Duralumin, the lightweight aluminum alloy used in the girder construction of the airship, built by the Goodyear Zeppelin Corporation for the United States Navy. Inscribed on the frame’s presentation plaque is a dedication to Dale Hutchinson, Winner of the Third Annual Goodyear Dealers Zeppelin Race, July-August 1931.
