Good to know:
- Layout inspired by DJ turntables and vinyl records
- In-house developed jumping hour module
- Only obtainable from a raffle system

- First started as a MB&F side project, M.A.D.Editions comes to reality in the early 2020s, offering innovative watches at a more affordable price point. 2025 celebrates MB&F’s 20th anniversary, thus, the brand released the M.A.D.2, at the same time honouring Eric Giroud, 20-year creative partner and designer of MB&F.

- The jumping hour display and rotating minutes display lining in parallel resembles a DJ mixing console, inspired by the mad days when Eric Giroud and MB&F founder Maximilian Büsser’s partying era in the 1990s. The two subsidiary dials lay on a textured and grooved central dial that pays homage to the surface of vinyl records. Surrounding the dial is the self-winding rotor inspired by the stroboscopic band of the Technics SL-1200 turntable from the 1970s.

- The stainless steel case in a round pebble shape with smooth curves is inspired from Giroud’s first watch design back in the 1990s that did not made it to reality. Revived in the new M.A.D.2, it cases the La Joux-Perret cal. G101 movement, same as the previous M.A.D.1S, with a bespoke jumping hour module developed by MB&F.

- The M.A.D.2 is only available through a raffle system. For watch collectors who would like a playful watch without the patience of joining the raffle and lady luck’s grace, this is an unmissable chance to pick up the timepiece.
