- The Senator “Chronometer” is Glashütte Original’s first officially certified chronometer watch, showing that the watch is capable of precise timekeeping. The clean, classy layout of the timepiece resembles vintage pocket chronometers. It features a power reserve indicator at the 12 o’clock position, and subtly placed at the lower position of the indicator is the day-night indicator.
- Operating on the cal. 58-01 movement, the timekeeping adjustment of the watch is executed exceptionally well. It features a stop-second and reset mechanism, in which whenever the crown is pulled the seconds hand resets to 0 and stops. The minutes hand is carefully calibrated that it only stops on the indication of the full minute, hence, the minutes and seconds would be matching after finishing the adjustment of time.
