- Taking inspiration from Antide Janvier and Ferdinand Berthoud, Louis Erard deconstructed the usual bulky marine chronometers and shaped it into a 42mm diameter wristwatch. The dial of the watch has a rough grained, frosted surface, in which this modern touch makes it more visualizing in such vintage-inspired design. The subdials, however, are raised, rhodium plated and finished in a smoother texture, creating a contrasty look.
