  • Catalogue Essay

Glashütte Original Senator Navigator is an homage both to the brand and its long tradition in the field of aviation timepieces. They had a long history with military issue watches and in the early 20th century provided wristwatches, along with other manufacturers like A. Lange & Söhne, Laco and IWC, to the German Ministry of Aviation following their specifications. While the original watch featured a hack mechanism for stopping the seconds hand, the new re-edition was made with a reset button at the 8 o’clock, but closely resembles the original with a clear legible dial and large numerals for ease of reading during day and night flights. The present watch is in like new condition and is accompanied by its original guarantee and presentation box.
