    • Catered boat tour for five people with artist Charles Lim
    • Private screening of East Coast Park Lovers by filmmaker Li Lin Wee

Through the lens of the husband-and-wife duo, artist Charles Lim (b. 1973, Singapore) and filmmaker Li Lin Wee (b. 1973, Singapore), explore disappearing coastal lines, reclamation in action and cartographic changes over time. In this very special journey, Lim will take you and your friends on a boat tour that explores a side of Singapore’s east coast few have ever seen.

Experience East Coast Lovers, directed by Wee. In the film, three sets of lovers are at a popular stretch of beach in Singapore on a Sunday, each one feeling that they are losing faith in some way. By the waves, their lives become intertwined with a little song, a little courage and a little connection.

Lim is a renowned Singapore contemporary artist and former Olympic sailor. He has participated in numerous institutional and international exhibitions, including Documenta 11 (2002), Manifesta 7 (2008), Shanghai Biennale (2008) and Singapore Biennale (2011). He is also one of the featured artists for the Ng Teng Fong Roof Garden Commission at National Gallery Singapore.

Wee is regarded as a pioneer female filmmaker in Singapore. Her films have a signature whimsy, humour and heart, which she has translated into shorts, features, telemovies and commercials. She has won several awards locally and internationally, including Best Director at the Singapore International Film Festival and her films have been screened in prestigious festivals such as the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, Short Shorts in Tokyo, the Udine Far East Film Festival in Italy, the Shanghai International Film Festival, the Hawaii International Film Festival and many others. Wee completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University and her graduate studies at NYU-Tisch Asia.
