Dedy Sufriadi is highly regarded for his lively abstract compositions of entangled words and symbols. Exploring the convergence of text and image, his artworks refuse to be bound by a particular discipline, allowing the artist to evolve his subject matter more freely. This unique hybrid artistic language results in forceful artworks that are striking in their directness and honesty, leaving a lasting impact on all who view them.

Sufriadi’s unique expressive style and abstract execution have garnered him critical acclaim from a young age. Presenting his first solo exhibition in Yogyakarta at the age of 20, his radical artworks gained immediate interest. He has been the recipient of many prestigious awards, and was also a finalist in the UOB Art Award in 2012 and 2015.
