We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive dinner experience hosted by Deborah Iskandar. A senior player in the art industry, Deborah opened Christie’s, the first auction house in Indonesia, in 1996 after moving to Indonesia in 1991 with her Padangnese husband Daniel Iskandar. She has since gone on to open her own gallery, ISA Art Gallery, located in central Jakarta. A prolific collector since she was 26, her collection spans non-conformist art of the Soviet Union, Vietnamese art by the likes of Lê Phổ, Mai Thu, and Vu Cao Dam, as well as works by top Indonesian contemporary artists such as I GAK Murniasih, Arahmaiani, Heri Dono, Jompet, and others. This evening will give you the chance to view this incredible art collection within an intimate setting whilst enjoying a delightful selection of Padangnese home-cooked cuisine, as well as a variety of dishes from other regions of Indonesia. The dinner will include cocktails, wine and whisky, to be enjoyed whilst immersing oneself in this collection that includes works rarely seen on the market.

This experience is located in Jakarta. Flights and local transits are not included in the winning bid. National Gallery Singapore will put the winning bidder in touch with Daniel and Deborah Iskandar to arrange the experience.
