      During the 1980s, Swiss manufacturers began to adorn sports watches with gemstones for their exclusive and demanding clientele, and over the past decade these rare timepieces have become collectors’ favorites due to their exquisite workmanship and quality. The present Corum wristwatch is a wonderful representation of this period, set with diamonds and a prism of multi-color sapphires. Confirmed by Corum, the present watch originally retailed for 184,600 CHF when it was manufactured in 1993.
