Phillips is pleased to present WAST3D POT3NTIAL the first solo show of Southern California based artist Brett Crawford in Asia.

Reflecting on Crawford’s personal journey and how different actions ultimately direct us to our destinies, this series of works explores the simultaneously universal and personal question of purpose and existentialism. A cultural exchange between art, fashion, and street culture, each of his work echoes the underlying sentiments of an ever-evolving urban society—human connection, personal influence, and social recognition time—all etched in time via the most forward contemporary fashion trends sported by Crawford’s iconic characters.

To curate the most immersive experience, the sneakers and clothing of the characters are also available for purchase in exclusive quantity in the on-site pop-up. Additionally, the artist’s limited-edition screen prints and art toys will be offered, bringing Crawford’s multidisciplinary vision to life.
