The Wisteria chandelier creates an atmospheric shadow play with the individually hand-dyed wisteria petals and gentle curves of the polychrome aluminium. The chandelier is a continuation of the language development for HyperNature, a sculptural tree commissioned by Champagne house Perrier-Jouët to re-enchant the everyday through the presence of unbridled nature. The stained glass-like ombre of the petals is inspired by the Art Nouveau glass work of Emile Gallé. The Wisteria lighting objects, chandelier is a special commission exclusive to Nilufar Gallery taking from the original Wisteria sconces which are part of an ongoing collaboration with Perrier-Jouët, supporting Bethan Laura Wood’s work as part of the “Artisan of the Wild” programme.
