  • Hazy landscapes at first appear familiar in their depictions of a California setting, however the airbrushed quality makes the scene appear almost like a memory. Even odder yet are the small glowing ovals in the background, upon closer inspection which appear to be UFO’s. The unsettling atmosphere that is created through airbrushing and shading creates an eerie ambiance amidst the pleasant cotton candy sunsets and calming sunrises. Aryo Toh Djojo was born in 1984 in Los Angeles, where the artist currently lives and works.
