  • Catalogue Essay

"The packing tape, and the wear and tear caused by its trip through the postal system are all parts of the artwork. This artwork will change over time. Not at all in a terminal way. The tape may deteriorate and fall off. That's Ok, that was supposed to happen. There will be some fading of the cardboard and paper elements as well, just let it change because it will only begin to look better.
The folded seams of the cardboard may begin to wear through. If that happens reinforce them with tape on the backside.
If it really starts to fall apart, wood glue it to a 60 x 48 sheet of plywood." Josh Smith
