    D Flawless Oval-Shaped Diamond
D Flawless diamonds are prized for their exceptional colour and clarity. To be graded D Flawless, means these diamonds achieve the highest possible colour and clarity grade. Under very strict laboratory conditions, only the finest, whitest diamonds are certified D colour and Flawless clarity.
Flawless diamonds have no internal inclusions and no external blemishes. Flawless diamonds are very rare—so rare, in fact, that it’s possible to spend a lifetime in the jewellery industry without ever seeing one, and they command top prices.
A beautifully finished diamond is spectacular, with every facet demonstrating the craftsman’s skill and care. When a diamond interacts with light, every angle and every facet affect the amount of light returned to the eye. This is what gives it its face-up appearance.
A diamond’s proportions determine how light performs when it enters the diamond. Diamonds with different proportions and good polish make better use of the light, and will be bright, colourful, and scintillating. A beautiful diamond looks the way it does because of three optical effects: white light reflections called brightness, flashes of colour called fire, and areas of light and dark called scintillation.
Precise artistry and workmanship are required to fashion a rough, so its proportions, symmetry, and polish deliver the brilliant return of light only possible in a diamond.

    Oval-Shaped
An Oval cut diamond is attractive and unique. It is a subtle update to the classic round brilliant cut yet does not stray too far from tradition. The slender body of the oval diamond creates a beautiful, elongated appearance. It often makes the hand and fingers appear slender.
The modern oval cut diamond was designed by a Russian diamond cutter named Lazare Kaplan in the mid-1950s, who perfected the oval cut process. His technique significantly improved the brilliance of the oval diamond. The process that Kaplan pioneered is what diamond cutters use to create oval cut stones today, which includes 58 facets to enhance the brilliance of the diamond. Today, the oval cut is one of the most impressive when it comes to brilliance and sparkle.
Lot 608 is a superb 20.30 carat D, Flawless diamond that has been afforded the highest colour and clarity from the GIA but also received Excellent grades for both Polish and Symmetry, a true example of perfection in its highest form.
