In providing fellowships with partnering overseas and local institutions, grant recipients expand their portfolios in the fields of research, skill-building or practice. In addition, Design Trust aims to actively accelerate the development of meaningful projects that advocate the positive role of design. Design disciplines can range from graphics, wearable technologies, product design, architecture to the built environment.

For example, the first Feature Grant grantee MAP Office exhibited their project “Uneven Growth” at the MoMA in New York.
