Ultramarine Knob (circa 1975) is a scale replica of a rock fragment from Tiger Balm Garden. Once the private residence of the ointment scion and philanthropist Aw Boon Haw, Tiger Balm Garden was Hong Kong’s first amusement park and psychedelic statuary, but little remains today apart from a sprinkling of brightly colored fragments stubbornly clinging to the cliffside above Tai Hang.
