Good to know:
- The only one known double-signed Türler ref. 6562
- Sunburst dial encase in a bold stainless steel case
- Finely decorated 18K gold rotor

The Vacheron Constantin ref. 6562 is the perfect demonstration that simple designs are truly eternal, this exquisite automatic timepiece from the 1960s exudes class and elegance while retaining a sporty edge thanks to its steel case and beveled lugs.

The present example is not just any other ref. 6562 — it features a sunburst dial with the Türler signature. Türler is a Swiss-based, family-owned, jewellery and watch retailer founded in 1883 selling some of the most prestigious watch brands. Back in the days when brand boutiques were not seen on every corner of streets and department stores, elite retailers were permitted to have their signatures on the dial. Türler had been adding their name on some of the watches until the late 1970s. Mostly seen on Omega and IWC watches, the Türler signature is relatively rare to be found on a Vacheron watch, and is the only one known example double-signed ref. 6562 on the auction market.

Operated by the cal. K 1072/1, the automatic movement beating inside this superb specimen is finished to the highest degree, down to a wonderfully decorated, engine-turned 18K gold rotor - truly a mark of distinction, in a time when transparent casebacks were virtually unheard of.

Combining technical refinement, aesthetic class and the appeal of a vintage automatic movement in a steel case, the present double-signed watch is a timepiece of timeless elegance, and perfect for all occasions.

Vacheron Constantin

Swiss | 1755

The world's oldest watch brand in continuous operation since its founding in 1755, Vacheron Constantin was the first watch company to manufacture movements with interchangeable parts beginning in 1839. Vacheron's watches are admired for their Latin-influenced case designs, well-balanced proportions and exquisitely finished movements of the highest quality. The Geneva-based manufacturer is known for their highly complicated masterpieces, including the King Farouk Grand Complication made in 1935, the Tour de l'Ile that was the most complicated serially produced wristwatch when introduced in 2005 and the 57260 — the world’s most complicated watch — made in 2015.

Key vintage models include minute repeating wristwatches such as the references 4261, chronographs such as the references 4178 and 6087 and the oversized Cioccolotone models such as ref. 4737. Collectors also appreciate Vacheron's Chronometer Royal pocket and wristwatches, as well as the '222,' the brand's first luxury sports watch produced from 1977 through 1984.
