- The present Ulysse Nardin San Marco Chronometer features a beautiful cloisonné enamel dial depicting the sea-battle of Porto Bello. Dated to 1708, the sea-battle saw Spanish galleons and English ships battling near the English shores. It is reported that four English ships, commanded by Commodore Charles Wager aboard the flagship "HMS Expedition", attacked Spaniard General Do Joseph de Santillon's "San José. A total of around 250 cannon shots were exchanged by both sides, with 64 of them striking the ballast mound of the "San José," ultimately resulting in her sinking with all her treasures.

- Released as a limited edition of 30 examples in platinum, of which this is number 20, the present Ulysse Nardin San Marco Chronometer Porto Bello is further accompanied by its full set of accessories, COSC certificate and bulletin de marche.
