- Patek Philippe’s first complicated ladies' wristwatch
- A very rare white gold example fitted with integrated bracelet
- Complete with its full set of accessories
First released in 1997, the Patek Philippe Travel Time reference 4864 holds historical significance as the manufacture’s very first complicated ladies' wristwatch. Cased in a classic Calatrava silhouette crafted by case maker Favre & Perret SA, the design is distinguished by a finely detailed coin-edge bezel, a decorative touch that was notably distinct for the period.
Measuring 29mm in diameter, the case features twin pushers set into the left flank of the caseband, each capped with cabochons to adjust the local hour hand forward or backward for travel. It is powered by the manual wound cal. 215 PS FUS, sharing its internal architecture with the men’s reference 5034 of the same era. Across its production run, which ceased in 2005, the reference was rendered in yellow, pink and white gold, often paired with matching applied Breguet numerals.
Made circa 2006, the present white gold timepiece represents one of the final production iterations of the reference. Setting it apart from typical leather strap examples, it is fitted with an elegant, integrated white gold bracelet preserved in overall excellent condition. Offered by its original owner and accompanied by its original Certificate of Origin and presentation box, this rare, bracelet reference 4864 stands as an exceptionally chic travel companion for the discerning lady collector.
