GOOD TO KNOW
• Limited edition of 50 pieces made to commemorate Sincere Watches’ 50th anniversary
• Uncommon and highly attractive blue sunburst dial, distinct from standard production
• Offered in excellent condition as a full collector’s set

Introduced in 1996, the Patek Philippe Reference 5035 represents a landmark achievement in modern horology as the world’s first serially produced annual calendar wristwatch. Conceived to deliver exceptional practicality without the complexity of a perpetual calendar, its ingenious mechanism requires correction only once per year at the end of February.

Cased in white gold, the present example is distinguished by its notable historical and commemorative significance, created for Sincere Watch Limited to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Founded in 1954, Sincere Watches has established itself as one of Asia’s most influential and respected retailers, cultivating longstanding relationships with the world’s foremost manufactures and an astute collector base across the region. To mark this important milestone, Patek Philippe produced a highly exclusive limited edition of just 50 pieces, elevating the present watch into a category of exceptional rarity. Such retailer-commissioned editions are seldom encountered in the market, and are particularly prized for their confluence of historical relevance and scarcity.

The watch is further set apart by its striking blue sunburst dial, whose radiant surface interacts beautifully with light, shifting effortlessly from deep navy hues to vibrant electric blue tones. This dynamic and uncommon aesthetic introduces a contemporary vibrancy to the reference, while maintaining the elegance and restraint that define Patek Philippe’s design language.

Patek Philippe

Swiss | 1839

Since its founding in 1839, this famous Geneva-based firm has been surprising its clientele with superbly crafted timepieces fitted with watchmaking's most prestigious complications. Traditional and conservative designs are found across Patek Philippe's watches made throughout their history — the utmost in understated elegance.

Well-known for the Graves Supercomplication — a highly complicated pocket watch that was the world’s most complicated watch for 50 years — this family-owned brand has earned a reputation of excellence around the world. Patek's complicated vintage watches hold the highest number of world records for results achieved at auction compared with any other brand. For collectors, key models include the reference 1518, the world's first serially produced perpetual calendar chronograph, and its successor, the reference 2499. Other famous models include perpetual calendars such as the ref. 1526, ref. 3448 and 3450, chronographs such as the reference 130, 530 and 1463, as well as reference 1436 and 1563 split seconds chronographs. Patek is also well-known for their classically styled, time-only "Calatrava" dress watches, and the "Nautilus," an iconic luxury sports watch first introduced in 1976 as the reference 3700 that is still in production today.
