- Inspired by the dashboards of Ferrari cars, the ref. 5000G was introduced in 1992 in a limited run of 1,000 pieces in white gold.

- The model’s immediate success was a tribute not only to its ideal proportions, but also to its sapphire display caseback. This allowed collectors to admire the inner workings of the ultra-thin automatic cal. 240, renowned for its off-center 22k gold micro-rotor. The present example features a striking black dial, accented by crisp white Arabic numerals, an inner "railway" minute track, and an eccentric subsidiary seconds dial positioned between 4 and 5 o'clock.
