Introduced in 2022, the Patek Philippe Nautilus Reference 5811/1G-001 marks a new chapter in the history of one of the manufacture’s most celebrated designs. Created in 18k white gold and measuring 41 mm in diameter, the model serves as the only current Jumbo time-only Nautilus model offered by the company and is the successor to legendary reference 5711 (albeit the latter was in stainless steel).
It appears to be among the most hard-to-come-by current Nautilus references, as evidenced by its auction appearances: in the near-five years since its launch, the model went under the gavel only 4 times - making this example the fifth public example to appear at auction.

The watch features the signature horizontally embossed blue dial, framed by applied white-gold hour markers and complemented by the characteristic rounded-octagonal case and integrated bracelet. Powered by the self-winding calibre 26-330 S C, the Reference 5811 combines contemporary mechanical sophistication with the enduring design language established by the original Nautilus.

Presented entirely in white gold, the 5811/1G offers a modern interpretation of the classic Nautilus aesthetic, balancing understated elegance, technical refinement, and the exceptional finishing for which Patek Philippe is renowned. The present watch is preserved in excellent condition and accompanied by its original accessories.

Patek Philippe

Swiss | 1839

Since its founding in 1839, this famous Geneva-based firm has been surprising its clientele with superbly crafted timepieces fitted with watchmaking's most prestigious complications. Traditional and conservative designs are found across Patek Philippe's watches made throughout their history — the utmost in understated elegance.

Well-known for the Graves Supercomplication — a highly complicated pocket watch that was the world’s most complicated watch for 50 years — this family-owned brand has earned a reputation of excellence around the world. Patek's complicated vintage watches hold the highest number of world records for results achieved at auction compared with any other brand. For collectors, key models include the reference 1518, the world's first serially produced perpetual calendar chronograph, and its successor, the reference 2499. Other famous models include perpetual calendars such as the ref. 1526, ref. 3448 and 3450, chronographs such as the reference 130, 530 and 1463, as well as reference 1436 and 1563 split seconds chronographs. Patek is also well-known for their classically styled, time-only "Calatrava" dress watches, and the "Nautilus," an iconic luxury sports watch first introduced in 1976 as the reference 3700 that is still in production today.
