Patek Philippe
Ref. 3445, First Series
Calatrava
A well-preserved yellow gold wristwatch with small seconds and date
Full-Cataloguing
- Produced through 1981 in three series and crafted in each of the four precious metals, the reference enjoyed two decades of enduring appeal. The first and second series remained faithful to its original, pure design, while the third introduced thoughtful enhancements: a subtly raised bezel, sapphire crystal, and an exhibition caseback.
- The present “fresh to the market” yellow gold ref. 3445 is a well-preserved example of the “First Series”, identifiable by its movement within the 1.12 million range. It features sharp, well-defined lugs and crisp hallmarks. Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming its production year in 1963, this watch stands as a classic and refined emblem of one of the most significant Patek Philippe designs of the mid-20th century.
