Good To Know:
- Winner of “Best chronograph” at GPHG 2017
- Numbered 8 of 25 pieces
- Grand feu enamel dial with skeletonized movement
Debuted as a limited edition to celebrate Parmigiani Fleurier’s 20th anniversary in 2016, the brand introduced a remarkable rattrapante movement with big date, the calibre PF361 for the Tonda Chronor Anniersaire. A first-ever in-house fully integrated (no added modules) chronograph calibre, the model famously took home the award of “Best Chronograph” at the 2017 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG). The model was produced in just 25 pieces each of two variations with Grand Feu enamel dials: Royal blue dial in white gold and white dial in pink gold like the present example.
This sophisticated mechanism includes two column wheels (one for chronograph, one for rattrapante), a monolithic flexible clamp for precision, a vertical friction clutch to prevent hand jumps, powered at a high-frequency of 5Hz hence allowing the wearer to 1/10th-second accuracy and finally a power reserve of 65 hours.
Engraved with numbered 8 of a limited edition of 25 pieces on the reserse, the wear can admire the skeletonized pink gold movement that highlights the column wheels with a beveled bridge construction that is extremely well designed and finished.
Paired with a Hermès alligator strap and its full set of accessories, this is a perfect chance to get a limited edition creation from the early days of the brand.
