Cased in yellow gold, the attractive silvery-white dial is set against three black registers and a matching black outer track, earning its nickname the “Golden Panda”. Contrasting beautifully with its other elements, the black bezel insert marked with the golden tachymeter scale elevates the appeal of the “Panda” dial. In 1903, the company changed its name to Omega, becoming the only watch brand in history to have been named after one its own movements.
