Benu Central Second

An impressive and attractive limited edition stainless steel wristwatch with salmon dial, manual winder with pusher, warranty and presentation box, numbered 7 of a limited edition of 25 pieces

- Moritz Grossmann made its mark in the world of horology in 2008. Embodying the spirit of 19th century watchmaking, the microbrand release the Benu, its first timepiece, inspired by a phoenix in Egyptian mythology. This timepiece established the brand and eventually became the code to name all collections after gods of the mythical, including Tefnut and Atum.

- The present timepiece is the Central Second from the Benu Collection, and is part of an exclusive 25-piece limited edition, featuring a warm and inviting salmon dial. Distinguished by its finesse on details and individuality, the ref. MG-002939 celebrates the traditional less-is-more ideal with a touch of modernity. Boasting a clean 41mm dial, the salmon-hue canvas is graced with simple blue Arabic numerals and a set of elegant blue-steel hands with sweep center seconds. Unlike the original Benu watch, the present timepiece embodies the “social and technological significance” of timekeeping by opting out of a small seconds register at 6 o’clock. Framed in a charming stainless steel case with a highly polished finish, this model's overall aesthetics perfectly encapsulate the spirit of artisanal Saxon craftsmanship united with a mechanism that simply functions perfectly.

- Numbered 7 of a limited edition of 25 pieces, this tastefully executed salmon-dialled Benu Central Second is offered in “like-new” condition and is further delivered with its original accessories. Sleek and slick, it sits comfortably on the wrist and will slide effortlessly under any cuff. With a production rate of only 200 watches per year, the present dress watch is an accurate representation of old-world classicism with modernity.
