- First launched in 2009, the Horological Machine No.3, crafted like a spaceship, was purposely designed to showcase the finished movement through a half-moon aperture.
- Battle-axe rotor and ceramic bearings work harmoniously to allow the laser cut red hands to advance smoothly along the twin time-indicating cones located at extremes of the case.
- Whilst its case design was born out of the inceptions of Max Büsser and Eric Giroud, it is thanks to Jean-Marc Wiederrecht's design of the HM3 machine that the timepiece is alive.
- The present Horological Machine No.3 "Starcruiser" in excellent overall condition is further accompanied by its full set of accessories.
- According to the book "MB&F the First 15 Years, A Catalogue Raisoné" only 36 pieces were made in this configuration.
