'Like many of Marc Newson’s creations, the present watch was inspired by the event horizon in astrophysics, the boundary defining the region of space around a black hole and the moment when gravity becomes infinite. The dial creates a special optical illusion of appearing convex, demonstrating perfect balanced asymmetry in watch design. This strap is incredibly similar to the Apple Watch strap and at the time, Marc Newson retailed this watch for 20-30,000 USD.'
