Catalogue Essay
The Classic Fusion Jeans is a collaboration between Hublot and Laurent Picciotto, connoisseur and founder of Chronopassion. Inspired by the adventurous charisma of the cowboys from the Wild West, the Classic Fusion Jeans clashes the ruggedness of denim and the robustness of modern titanium. Boosting with originality and personality, the timepiece in 42mm diameter has a lean profile and is powered by the calibre SW300 with a power reserved of 42 hours. Fitted with a rubber strap, denim covering, and orange stitching as a finishing touch, the watch wears with extreme comfort on the wrist. The present example is no doubt the perfect choice for a casual weekend with a white shirt and a pair jeans.
Hublot
Swiss | 1980Hublot was founded by Carlo Crocco in 1980 and named after the French word for "porthole," which resembles their iconic bezel design. Hublot's first watch followed three years of research and was the first wristwatch to be fitted with a natural rubber strap. The brand's most recognizable watch today is the 'Big Bang', which was first launched in 2005 upon the arrival of CEO and shareholder Jean-Claude Biver. Other noteworthy models are the 'Classic Fusion' and 'King Power'.
