Good To Know:
- Preserved in like-new condition and complete set
-Stunning lavender-color dial
Released in 2018, the 1941 Principia is Grönefeld’s first time-only wristwatch, featuring a completely original in-house automatic movement, finished and assembled by hand.
The movement of the present timepiece is impressive. Fitted with a uni-directional winding mechanism weighted by a 22-karat solid pink gold monobloc rotor, the 226-part movement is made of stainless steel bridges replicating bell gables, often seen on the rooftops of Dutch church buildings, referencing the homeland of the famed horological brothers. Rotating on ceramic ball bearings, the rotor’s design prevents wear and eliminates the need for lubrication.
The beautiful lavender silvered dial is complemented by a dark blue leather strap. Along with the elegant flame-blued lancette hour and minute hands and faceted hour markers, the stainless steel case exudes charm and comfort in equal beauty. Complete with its original warranty and accessories, this is a wonderful colorway for the iconic model.
