Catalogue Essay
- Re-established by watch industry veteran Guillaume Laidet in 2021, Excelsior Park since 1911 has manufactured chronographs and in-house movements for esteemed brands like Gallet, Girard Perregaux, and Zenith. Spearheaded with the resurrection of brands like Nivada Grenchen and Vulcain, the first limited edition released by Laidet was the Excelsior chronograph reference EP95004 featuring a captivating salmon dial.

- The present watch is from is the brand's latest collaboration made in collaboration with Perpetuel Gallery. Named the Soda Fountain Edition, it is a chronograph featuring a vibrant blue dial. The timepiece stands out from the standard models as it features applied Eastern Arabic numerals instead of printed ones on its vertically-brushed finished dial. Colourful and playful, the dial on the Soda Fountain retains a minimalist yet retro appearance with the printed chronograph scale and lettering in glossy black contrasting the brighter coloured dial. The watch was made exclusively made for Perpetuel Gallery, which is located at the heart of Dubai. The company distinguishes itself as a unique destination to discover fine independent watchmaking.

- Powered by a manual winding twin-counter Sellita movement, the timepiece comes with an open sapphire caseback and additional closed one.

- Part of a limited release of 50 pieces of which this example is number 13, the present Excelsior Park x Perpetuel chronograph is further preserved in excellent condition and is accompanied by its full set of accessories.
