Saratoga Splendour Esmeraude

An unworn, dazzling, impressive and unique platinum, diamond and emerald-set minute repeating perpetual calendar tourbillon wristwatch with moon phases and leap year indication

The Concord Saratoga Splendour Esmeraude is an extraordinary fusion of haute horlogerie and haute joaillerie. The case is meticulously carved from a solid block of platinum and adorned with 8 trapeze emeralds (0.65 ct) and 38 trapeze diamonds (5.02 ct) on the bezel, extending through the lugs. The dial features a stunning pavé setting of 279 diamonds totaling 1.1 ct, with an additional 36 baguette-cut emeralds (1.3 ct) serving as hour markers and for the day and date registers. The platinum buckle is also embellished with six tapered-cut emeralds.

The Grand Complication movement is of the highest caliber, incorporating a minute repeater, a perpetual calendar, and a stealthy tourbillon discreetly located on the caseback. While the identity of the skilled watchmaker behind the movement remains uncertain, the finishing and style of the components suggest it may have been crafted by the master Christophe Claret.

While historically emeralds symbolize love, loyalty, good fortune, rebirth and peace, this unique interpretation of watchmaking showcases exceptional elegance and craftsmanship. This one-of-a-kind Concord is offered at a fraction of its retail price and in excellent condition, it would be an ideal addition for collectors who appreciate the marriage between haute horlogerie and haute joaillerie.
