Claudi Casanovas Ten Years – Ten Jars exhibition marked the tenth anniversary of the opening of Anita Besson’s Gallery in London.  On the day of the firing of the ten Jars exhibited at the show (10th February, 1998) Casanovas wrote:   Today I collected from the shores of time, near Cap de Creus, some amphorae, some jars which an imaginary ship will bring you. May these be filled for you.   One with calm the second with peace the third with tranquility the fourth with tenderness The fifth with rest Meekness in the sixth Prosperity in the seventh the eighth with good fortune the ninth with nothingness and in the last silence.
