Catalogue Essay
- Breguet's Reine de Naples collection is inspired by an early bracelet watch that Abraham-Louis Breguet created for Bonaparte's sister Caroline, Queen of Naples. Since then, the line has developed in strides, with Breguet created different variations, whether it be for in dial design, complications and metal combinations.

- The present watch features not only the crucial design elements such as the oval case, coin-edge case band and sapphire cabochon crown, it is furthermore embellished with a mother-of-pearl dial, power reserve and a moon phase indication. No detail is forgotten - even the clasp is set with diamonds, giving the watch a glamorous touch. Incredibly elegant, it's a perfect accompaniment, whether it be for everyday wear or a dressier night event.

- Preserved in excellent condition, it furthermore is accompanied by its Breguet guarantee dated September 23, 2008, product literature, wallet, presentation box and outer packaging.

Breguet

Swiss | 1775
Established in 1775 by Abraham Louis Breguet, widely considered the greatest watchmaker of all time, the storied brand continues to thrive in the modern era, creating exceptional high-end watches as the Swatch Group's premier prestige brand. Some of the most important and lasting inventions in watchmaking are attributed to Abraham Louis Breguet, including the tourbillon, shock resistance and the use of hammers and gongs employed in nearly all minute repeating watches made since.

Eighteenth and nineteenth century Breguet pocketwatches are especially sought-after by collectors, and many of them were made for the elite of European society, including Napoléon and Marie Antoinette. Key wristwatches from the twentieth century include oversized dress watches, two-register chronographs, triple calendars and Type XX aviator's chronographs made for the French military and civilians.
