At the SIHH 2016, Audemars Piguet unveiled the reference 15407, featuring a breathtaking skeletonized movement with double balance wheels. Though it is a straightforward timepiece that displays hours and minutes with a central seconds hand, it is the technical innovation behind the ref. 15407 that has made it one of the most coveted pieces in today’s market.
Beyond its impressive technical attributes, the watch exudes visual appeal. Housed within a modern 41 mm stainless steel Royal Oak case, the skeletonized cal. 3132 is adorned with ruthenium-coated bridges, bestowing a gun-metal sheen across the movement, except for the stunning balance bridge. While much of the movement is meticulously diamond-cut, the solid pink gold balance bridge stands out, it is hand-finished using traditional Swiss watchmaking techniques and immediately captures the wearer’s attention, complemented by matching pink gold hands.
Offered by its original owner, this particular piece is in “like new” condition with no signs of usage, complete with a full set of accessories.
