Catalogue Essay
Elegant yet sporty, the arched profile from the double-curved crystal streamlines the whole architecture as the most refined new breed from Audemars Piguet. The arched profile plays with depth, perspective and light for a unique optic experience. While its internal surface is shaped like a dome, it is vertically curved from 6 to 12 o’clock.
Crafted in the warmth of pink gold in a 41mm case, this variant of the CODE 11.59 features a sophisticated hue of blue. Rich yet understated, the two-toned lacquered blue complements the pink accents perfectly within the dial. Beautifully balanced, the standard 3-6-9 chronograph display layout is adopted with two slightly oversized chronograph counters, along with an inconspicuous date aperture that sits between 4 and 5 o'clock with matching colour date wheel. Powered by the calibre 4401, a column wheel activated vertical clutch flyback chronograph that provides 72 hours of power reserve. Furthermore, the present example is offered in “like-new” condition by the original owner with its full set of accessories.
