Full-Cataloguing
This photograph was one of a group of early prints acquired directly from Ansel Adams by an Oakland, California, collector in the 1930s and sold at auction in 2002. The label on the reverse of this photograph’s mount was designed by Lawton Kennedy for Adams’s 1936 exhibition at Alfred Stieglitz’s An American Place gallery. A print of this image was included in that exhibition.
