GOOD TO KNOW
• Like-new condition
• Modern complicated luxury sports timepiece
• Complete set consigned by the original owne

Inspired by the celebrated reference 222, Vacheron Constantin introduced the Overseas collection to the market in 1996. Known for an understated elegance and spirt of travel and exploration, today it is one of the most iconic luxury sports watches that has become increasingly popular with collectors. The collection has evolved over the last 30 years and offers enthusiasts a luxury sports wristwatch in an array of materials, dimensions, and complications.

The present 18K pink gold Overseas Tourbillon is an impressive feat of technology and design pushing the limits of haute horlogerie. The watch is powered by the brand’s first ever in-house caliber 2160 self-winding tourbillon movement with the tourbillon visible both from the dial and back side of the watch. It is a statement piece and one of the few automatic luxury tourbillon sport watches in the market today. The generous 42.5mm diameter pink gold case is perfectly matched with the understanded dark blue shimmering dial, both of which are highlighted by the robust and attractive pink gold Vacheron Constantin bracelet. The model has a thinner profile and sits comfortably on the wrist.

The present Overseas is in near new condition and complete with its full suite of accessories. Dating to 2021, fully complete, and consigned by the original owner, this tourbillon is a wonderful representation of both Vacheron Constantin and the Overseas collection.

Vacheron Constantin

Swiss | 1755

The world's oldest watch brand in continuous operation since its founding in 1755, Vacheron Constantin was the first watch company to manufacture movements with interchangeable parts beginning in 1839. Vacheron's watches are admired for their Latin-influenced case designs, well-balanced proportions and exquisitely finished movements of the highest quality. The Geneva-based manufacturer is known for their highly complicated masterpieces, including the King Farouk Grand Complication made in 1935, the Tour de l'Ile that was the most complicated serially produced wristwatch when introduced in 2005 and the 57260 — the world’s most complicated watch — made in 2015.

Key vintage models include minute repeating wristwatches such as the references 4261, chronographs such as the references 4178 and 6087 and the oversized Cioccolotone models such as ref. 4737. Collectors also appreciate Vacheron's Chronometer Royal pocket and wristwatches, as well as the '222,' the brand's first luxury sports watch produced from 1977 through 1984.
