GOOD TO KNOW
• Limited edition of 10 pieces, present piece numbered 7
• Miniature art dial from comic book artist Milo Manara

-Unveiled in 2019, the Classico Manara Manufacture represents an evocative collaboration between Ulysse Nardin and celebrated Italian illustrator, Milo Manara. Conceived as a sequence of ten distinct yet interconnected scenes, the collection follows the dreamlike encounter between Nadia, a young woman, and Ulyssa, a mermaid, as their relationship unfolds across an atmospheric marine landscape. The present reference portrays the pair aboard a sailing yacht, rendered with remarkable intimacy and depth.

-Far more than a conventional printed dial, Manara’s original watercolor was recreated entirely by hand in miniature painting, which is a demanding process requiring approximately 50 hours of painstaking work for each dial. Its rich blues and warm flesh tones are complemented by discreet leaf-shaped hands and an unobtrusive small-seconds display, allowing the artwork to remain the undisputed focus.

-Each of the ten compositions was produced in only ten stainless-steel and ten pink-gold examples; the present stainless-steel watch is individually numbered 7 of 10, underscoring its exceptional rarity.
