The movement is incredibly complicated, displaying the calendar with a digital year indicator above 6 o'clock. In addition, its dual time complication allows the user to adjust the time with a simple pusher in the band that can be operated forward or backward.

Ulysse Nardin himself was a trained watchmaker under the guidance of his father, Leonard-Frederic Nardin, as well as master watchmakers Frederic William Dubois and Louis Jean Richard-dit-Bressel.
