Catalogue Essay
Ulysse Nardin finds inspiration in one of the most fascinating cities in the world, Venice, for its limited edition minute repeating automata wristwatch. Inspired by the Carnival of Venice, the champlevé enamel dial depicts two masked figures that move in sync with the minute repeating and participate in the carnival in front of the Rialto Bridge on the Grand Canal. The automata figures lift their masks with the chiming of the minute repeating, giving the watch a feeling of festivity. Presented in like new condition and complete with all accessories, the present watch features a stunning artistic illustration and exquisite engineering.
