In 2002, Tiffany & Co. announced the release of their Mark Collection of high-end wristwatches in order to provide quality timepieces to an ever growing international clientele. The line offered a variety of timepieces encased in gold and platinum and in 2004 they offered to the public the Tiffany Mark Minute Repeater.
The 39 mm diameter case is large and bold with thick downturned lugs and slide mechanism in the band. The silvered dial has a guilloché center and polished chapter ring with elongated Roman numerals and an off-set subsidiary seconds dial at the 9 o’clock.
Featuring a Lemania movement, the manual wound watch strikes the hour, quarters and minutes with a clear and quality tone. Considered to be one of fewer than ten examples, the present watch is in very good overall condition is a very rare opportunity to own a timepieces from the classically designed Mark Collection.
